For example, users could download photos from the digital camera to their computer and then post them to a social networking site like Facebook, where they may share them with family and friends.

Pen drives are compact data storage gadgets that are designed to transfer and save information from a computer. They are also called as "memory sticks," "USB sticks," or "flash drives." The devices seem like miniature hard drives, but they don't have any moving parts or computing power, and they're only used for storing. When a pen drive is connected into a computer's port, the operating system of the computer transfers files onto or off of the drive for storage.

Pen drives are commonly used to transfer files or information from one computer to another, much like a CD or floppy disk, but they are smaller, more handheld, and have greater storage capacity than other removable disks.

A hard drive is a type of computer storage device that stores digital data and material. Every computer comes with an internal hard drive, however external hard drives can really be purchased to extend a computer's storage capacity.
